Yukon Solitaire: from controls to your first round

For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Use another round to revisit a decision. Work at your own pace. Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns. Use another round to revisit a decision.

One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice with a purpose

Take a moment to read the table. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

Aim for this result

Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Check the relevant controls before continuing. Work at your own pace.

From the start of a round

  1. Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Move exposed cards onto suit foundations in the stated rank order.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

The controls to know

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Use another round to revisit a decision. For a calm first round, focus on one decision.

Put the rules into context

A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

An important reminder

A clear plan starts with the current position. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the relevant controls before continuing.
